Live @ Loft
The Live @ The Loft programme continues of Friday night the 2nd of March with Perth’s premiere blues band, Wang Dang Delta.
The 6-piece band from Perthshire, who specialise in blues and beyond music features Pete Caban on guitar, Ian McLaren on vocals and guitar, Alan Sutherland on keyboards, Jim Harcuss on harmonica, Pim Pirnie on drums & Jason Witherspoon on bass. The band serve up a set featuring mainly original compositions – excerpts from their last two albums - with some classic blues and boogie thrown in for good measure.
The evening will begin acoustically with Lights Out By Nine lead singer, Al Hughes. Rooted in the blues and soul tradition like so many Scottish singers, Al writes from his own perspective on topics, which are very much of today.
He will be joined by Wang Dang Delta on stage to complete the acoustic set and in the second part of the evening they will continue with an electric set.
So make a date on Friday 2nd March at The Loft.
